Robert Gordon's has always believed in educating the whole child. Encouraging children to enjoy and excel at a wide range of activities nurtures the self-esteem which leads to academic success. Extra-curricular activities are an important element in school life and complement the more formal curriculum.
In Junior School we have over 50 clubs for our pupils. Clubs are held either at lunchtimes or after school and sometimes at the weekend. Pupils can choose from choirs, team games, solo sports, art, dancing and drama, not to mention a huge range of clubs representing all sorts of interests such as Greek Mythology, Quiz Club, P7 Show Club, Bridge, Programming Club, Young Engineers, Knitting, Mini Boppers, Construction, Movie Club, K'Nex, Rugby, Hockey and Netball - to name but a few!
The Junior School Library is open to different year groups on different days for personal reading, as well as being open for weekly curricular sessions.
