Meet the Team
Inspire Catering is a Scottish company wholly independently owned by business partners, David Pease and Lorna McFarlane (pictured above), offering a range of bespoke quality catering solutions to clients in Scotland and North East England. Locations range from independent schools, business and industry blue chip companies, training centres and further education colleges. 90% of suppliers are from Scotland and of those 85% are SME’s.
David Hunt, Group Executive Chef
David is an award winning Chef and board member of the Federation of Chefs Scotland. David is responsible for driving food service development and educating craft teams on new styles of food production and presentation. He also designs and implements innovative menu choice ideas. David spearheads all unit craft activity involving Healthy Living Accreditation and membership of The Scotch Beef Club.
Denise Coulter, Quality and Training Manager
Denise has over 30 years experience in the catering and hospitality industry. With a wealth of knowledge, both operationally and in training, she will oversee and manage the delivery of training. Also looking after Quality Assurance and service development she will carry out audit reviews on a regular basis. Denise will manage the design of the events and promotions calendar for Robert Gordon's College.
Kevin Simpson, Operations Manager
Kevin is responsible for the day to day operational delivery of the catering services at Robert Gordon's College. Kevin has many years experience as a Chef, Catering Manager and as a Group Manager in large multi site group contracts. He will be involved in ensuring the delivery of an exceptional customer experience for the community of Robert Gordon's College.
Kevin Tinto, General Services Manager
Managing the catering team, Kevin is responsible for the delivery of the catering and hospitality services at Robert Gordon's College. With many years’ experience in Restaurant, Food and Beverage, and General Hotel Management, Kevin is delighted to be sharing his experience and passion for food with the college.
