STEM in the Installation

Robert Gordon’s College was selected to participate in a pilot project called STEM in the Installation.
Six S6 pupils spent the day at Nexen Offices in Kingswells, learning from industry experts about process engineering, risk assessments, the supply chain and finance.
They also took part in an icebreaker activity where the HR Manager highlighted that two of our participants performed better than most graduates.
Over the next two months the pupils are preparing a tender proposal to scope the work for the scheduled inspection of the LP Gas Compressor Suction Drum on the Golden Eagle oil platform.
