Junior (Open and Novice - pictured right) and Senior (Novice and Open - pictured above) pupils have qualified for the SSSA Autumn Dual Slalom Series at Snowfactor in Glasgow on 25 October.

Mrs MacLeod said: "Qualifiers took place on Saturday (Primary) and Sunday night (Secondary) at Aberdeen Snowsport Centre. The school skiers race in head to head in team relay races on two parallel slalom courses. Each school races another with points for a win where the winning teams qualify for the finals at Snowfactor. Our Junior School entered a Novice and also an Open Team with 20 primary teams competing. We are delighted that both teams were first in their category with all the children presented with gold medals."

Pupil Dominic added: "We all tried our hardest and encouraged each other.  I was amazed and astonished that we were the winners because there was very hard competition. We were unbeaten in all our races."

SSSA JuniorMrs Webb shared: "I'm delighted that the Junior School Race Club has enjoyed great success this weekend. I'd like to thank the staff and parents for their support across the year, which has led to both our teams progressing through to the National Finals in Glasgow."

Our Senior Novice team won gold and the Open team won silver in each of their categories, placing them well for the national finals.
