Google Summit Experience at Schoolhill
Posted: Tuesday 3 July 2018
This September the College will host the AppsEvents Aberdeen Summit, a two-day event which sees educators from across the country come together to explore how technology can promote engaging, collaborative, creative and dynamic learning experiences. Attendees are a cross section of teachers, IT staff, support staff and school leadership.
Delegates will take part in training workshops to develop their skills in using the newest technologies Google for Education has on offer, including virtual field trips using Google Expeditions and flipped learning using Google Classroom.
There will be discussion panels exploring themes such as Culture and the Future of Education, Digital First pupils Citizenship and making Mathematics Digital.

Alongside the main summit, we are also offering our Google Certification bootcamps as pre-summit courses. Many that attend our bootcamps quickly become Google Certified Educators or Administrators and are qualified to become Google Certified Trainers or Innovators.
Google for Education Summits run by AppsEvents are fun, high energy two day events where teachers and trainers who are Google for Education experts run sessions for educators on the best use of Google tools across schools.
