Volunteer with us
Volunteers bring with them a range of skills and experience that enhance the learning opportunities, achievement and enjoyment of children at school. We welcome and encourage volunteers from all sections of the local community.
Volunteering offers a fantastic source of work experience for those interested in working with young people where you can also stay in touch with various events and projects taking place throughout Robert Gordon’s College. Just whenever and however you can.
Our volunteers include: Members of the governing body, relatives of pupils, former pupils, students on work experience, former members of staff and local residents.
There are many activities that Volunteers are engaged with. These include: Parents Association, classroom representatives, school liaison groups, sport coaching, medical support at Countesswells, CCF and crossing patrols.
Become a Volunteer
Your contribution makes a huge difference. You will feel a great sense of achievement and personal satisfaction. Perhaps new knowledge and skills. We greatly value and appreciate the time and effort that each of our volunteers generously gives to our school.
The role of a Governor brings with it rewards and satisfaction and adds an extra dimension to the expertise available in the running of an independent school.
If you would like to volunteer, either for a one off event such as a school visit or on a more regular basis, please register your interest here detailing your contact information and how you would like to support the school.
