The first of our webinar series was hosted by Iain Anderson, Class of '86 and featured  perspectives from Gordonians in dealing with the global pandemic. It seeks to ask the question - how have Gordonians adapted to this fundamental change in all our lives?

Ways of working, societal change, digital disruption and mental health challenges have affected us all. But how have we dealt with this immense change and what happens next?

Leaving school, starting university, starting a new job or reinventing yourself for a new chapter in your life; these milestones are important times that will shape your future. 

Gordonians working in International Law, Politics and International Relations, Data Science and Photography, and a student of International Business and Spanish join this panel who all agree, there is never a week that goes by when they’re not learning and adapting to life’s challenges and opportunities. 

This session features perspectives from five Gordonians, two with established careers and three setting out on their journey into their careers – an acclaimed actor, a media executive, an English and Music graduate turned entrepreneur, and two University students living through the pandemic.

This webinar explores how to be the changemakers of the future and how to present the best version of you. The panel discuss how they developed their sense of purpose, how they created career plans without a roadmap, and how the pandemic has changed the way they view the world.
