Gordonian Association Annual Dinner 2026

Association President, David Rennie (Class of '71), would like to invite all Gordonians and friends to the Annual Dinner
of the Association which will be held in the Grand Ballroom at the Marcliffe at Pitfodels, Aberdeen on Friday
6th March 2025.

Our Main Speaker is Niall Farquharson (Class of ‘77).  Niall, a Chartered Accountant and lifelong golf enthusiast, teed off his journey as the first boarding student in four generations of his family at Robert Gordon’s College. He graduated with an MA in Accounts and Economics from the University of Aberdeen. Niall qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1985, became a partner at Ritson Smith in 1988, and later led their Aberdeen office and forensic accounting division following the merger with Johnston Carmichael. Beyond his professional career, he has captained the Scottish Universities Golfing Society, Royal Aberdeen Golf Club and played key roles in hosting prestigious international golf events, and supported the Grampian Houston Junior Golf Foundation. Since 2010, he has held leadership roles at the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, including Chair of its Finance Committee and Main Board. He lives in Aberdeen with his wife, Judy, a GP, and their two daughters, Sarah and Fiona.
