Our purpose-built Robert Gordon's College Nursery, opened in August 2019, offers an exceptional early learning environment for children aged 3-5 years, providing both outstanding education and exceptional value. Located at our Schoolhill campus in the heart of Aberdeen, the Nursery has been thoughtfully designed to provide a warm, nurturing and stimulating space where every child can enjoy the very best start to their educational journey.

In the heart of Aberdeen city centre, our nursery provides quality learning in an exciting and nurturing environment, supported by our experienced Early Years team. This carefully created setting allows children to feel secure, valued and ready to explore the world around them.

Learning is joyful and meaningful at Robert Gordon's College Nursery. Children are welcomed each day into a caring community led by our fully qualified Teacher and experienced Early Years Practitioners. This supportive environment helps children grow in confidence, develop independence and embrace new experiences. With inspiring indoor spaces and well-resourced outdoor learning areas, our Nursery encourages every child to discover, create and develop at their own pace.

Each week, our Nursery children enjoy sessions with a range of specialist teachers. These enriching experiences introduce them to new subjects, spark early interests and build strong foundations for future learning across the Junior School.

We value close partnerships with parents and work together to create the best possible learning experience for every child. As an integral part of the Robert Gordon’s College Junior School, our Nursery provides excellent preparation for the transition to Primary 1. In January, all Pre-School Nursery children are invited to complete the Primary 1 assessment, as entry is not automatic.

One of the most special aspects of our community is the friendships that form between children and families. These early connections often continue throughout their years at Robert Gordon’s College, creating a strong sense of belonging.

Our Nursery is fully registered with the Care Inspectorate and we are funded providers with Aberdeen City Council, making our high-quality early years education accessible to families across the city.
