About
RGC Online is a new online education service delivering SQA accredited Higher Computing Science and Higher Applications of Mathematics, taught live by teachers from Robert Gordon’s College. RGC Online offers students front-row access to live teaching, a catalogue of digital resources and sessions with their teachers and peers to build relationships and connections to the course.
RGC Online has been established by Robert Gordon’s College, a pioneer in Scottish education since 1750. We are located in Aberdeen, Scotland and thrive on innovative spirit and educating a generation of new entrepreneurial talent.
The service has been introduced to play a role in the future growth of the Scottish and global tech ecosystem and the need to make Computing Science a major growth subject in Scotland; highlighted by the Logan Review in 2020 for the Scottish government.
RGC Online aims to equip students across the country with the tools and skills to help with this change, providing a rigorous and innovative education in technology, with pathways into tech industries for talented and hardworking students.
