About
Established by Robert Gordon’s College, a leader in Scottish education since 1750, RGC Online is a pioneering initiative based in Aberdeen, Scotland. We thrive on an innovative spirit, dedicated to educating a generation of new entrepreneurial talent. Our platform provides students front-row access to live teaching, a catalogue of digital resources, and opportunities to engage in sessions with their teachers and peers, allowing them to build connections with the course and each other.
This new online education service delivers SQA accredited subjects, taught live by experienced teachers from Robert Gordon’s College. National 5 and Higher students also have access to the RGC Online+ platform, where they can study a range of Diploma modules.
The service was introduced to contribute to the growth of the Scottish and global tech ecosystem, addressing the need to make Computing Science a major focus in Scotland, as highlighted by the Logan Review in 2020 for the Scottish government.
Our goal is to equip students across the country with the tools and skills to help with this change, providing a rigorous and innovative education in technology, with pathways into tech industries for talented and hardworking students.
