Applications will open later this year for the 2026-2027 session. Enquire today about National 5 Latin, National 5 English, Higher Computing Science, Higher English, Higher Mathematics, and Advanced Higher RMPS.
Entry Criteria
- National 5 Latin: No specific requirements
- National 5 English: No specific requirements
- Higher Computing Science: Pass in National 5 Computing Science is required
- Higher English: Pass in National 5 English is required
- Higher Mathematics: Pass in National 5 Mathematics is required
- Advanced Higher RMPS: National 5 RMPS (preferably A or B grade)
Students who are not able to provide evidence of qualifications at the time of application may receive a conditional offer of acceptance until such evidence can be provided (e.g. when SQA examination results are released in early August).
Some SQA courses require completion of project or assignment work under supervised conditions. Students must therefore be able to travel to Aberdeen for an Assessment Weekend in March to complete this coursework. For the the 2026-2027 school year this is applicable only to Higher Computing Science.
Final SQA exams will typically be completed at the student's local school. If the school cannot accommodate this, or they are not currently attending a local school, students will need to come to Aberdeen to sit their examinations.
