RGC community celebrates Aberdeen FC Scottish Cup Trophy parade

On Sunday, families, staff, and former pupils gathered at the school gates on Schoolhill to cheer on Aberdeen Football Club’s triumphant parade. The community gathered in the heart of the city to congratulate the team on their remarkable Scottish Cup Trophy win.

As the team’s convoy passed by, cheers and applause filled the air, with fans of all ages proudly celebrating the club’s success. The parade, led by the TEXO Deeside Caledonia Pipe Band, and the Bucksburn and District Pipe Band, came to a brief stop near the College, where the RGC Pipe Band was ready and waiting to add to the stirring soundtrack to the celebrations, marking the occasion with tradition and pride.

The parade not only showcased Aberdeen FC’s victory but also brought a strong sense of unity and pride to the community. Our thanks go to Aberdeen FC and the Aberdeen FC Community Trust for kindly providing flags that added a colourful backdrop to the occasion.
