Cadets from the CCF RAF section travelled to Inskip Training Centre to participate in the Royal Air Squadron Trophy. Pupils competed in a number of areas including Aircraft Recognition, Shooting, RAF Knowledge, First Aid, Drill and Inspection and a Command Task. 

After an exciting two days of competition, competing with 36 schools across Scotland, Northern England and Northern Ireland, RGC was placed 'Top Novice Team' and 7th overall. Commenting on the weekend, Wg Cdr Montgomery shared: "Team members had devoted considerable time during evenings and weekends over several months to prepare for the event. This represents a tremendous achievement, and one of which all members of the team can be extremely proud."
