The Rickshaw Challenge team adapted to a new route when all the challengers had to return home to complete the challenge remotely.
Each day, Lauren Y (S5) and the rest of the resilient team have virtually cycled together, keeping each other motivated along the way. As the days have grown more challenging the team have been receiving messages of support and encouragement. Whilst emotional, this has been helping keep Team Rickshaw cycling.
Lauren spoke with all Junior pupils about the challenge during a morning assembly. Nursery children have been cycling and scooting around the playground and Junior pupils participated in the 2km Run Pudsey Schools Challenge as part of their PE lessons.
Mrs Armstrong, Assistant Head of Physical Education (Junior School), cheered on: "Congratulations to all staff and pupils for participating in and completing the Pudsey 2K Challenge in PE this week in support of Lauren and helping to raise funds for the charity. Everyone demonstrated enthusiasm and determination to complete their challenge. Well done!"

We look forward to seeing how Team Rickshaw have progressed on BBC One this evening.
