Some of our S1-S6 pupils from the co-curricular dance club recently performed in their showcase ‘Leap into Spring 2026’, a vibrant extravaganza celebrating their creativity and enthusiasm for dance.

Held in The Craig Centre for Performing Arts, the audience were treated to a variety of dance styles, including modern, ballet and highland dancing, with the pupils demonstrating the skills and routines they have been developing throughout the year. There was also a musical performance by Daniel (S5), who sang Santa Fe from the musical Newsies.

During the interval, the audience was invited to join a fun line-dancing session on stage, where the activity sparked plenty of laughter and brought performers and spectators together. 

Mrs Melville, Teacher of Physical Education shared: “It has been a joy to create our Senior Dance Show, “Leap into Spring 2026”  alongside our inspiring Dance Captains. Every member of the team worked with dedication to deliver truly polished performances from various dance genres. Our talented pupils shared their love of dance, each shining in their own unique way."
