Earlier this week, Mrs Power, Digital Education Co-ordinator presented on Collaboration and Networking as part of the Digital Schools Academy Webinar series. 

Talking about how we as a college are supporting student learning in and outside the classroom through our partnerships Mrs Power shared: "We are fortunate to have been the first UK school to take part in MIT's Global Teaching Lab (GTL) program. The young people who come to our school from MIT each January are exceptionally bright, passionate, and engaging. Our pupils benefit immensely from their knowledge in the classroom and as ambassadors for various career and study opportunities in STEAM. I value the chance to discuss the importance of fostering such networking and collaborations with other schools across Europe as a mentor school for the Digital Schools Award."

Robert Gordon’s College was the first 3-18 years and also first independent school in Scotland to be recognised under the new European digital schools award, recognising and celebrating best practice in digital education.

Launched in 2021, the Digital Schools Awards European programme was created to encourage and recognise innovation, collaboration and skills development in digital technology amongst schools.
