It is with great pride that we are able to announce the appointment of a Double School Pipe Major for the 2022-2023 session. Well done to Sam R and Alex S (S6) who have been promoted to Pipe Major. 

They will be responsible for assisting with both the musical and personal development of our younger and less experienced pipers and drummers whilst upholding our core values which are so important to our community. 

Sam follows in his brother Jack's footsteps who was the School Pipe Major in 2018-2019.  Alex's younger brother Cameron (S4) is a key member of the Pipe Band and Findlay (P3) is a bytesized bagpiper.

Piping Instructor, Mr Sumner shared: "Both Sam and Alex's duties will be split across the four Pipe Bands (Development, Intermediate, Novice B and Novice A) and we look forward to seeing both continue to promote the ethos of our Pipe Band culture and its traditions."
