David has been a familiar face in The Craig Centre for Performing Arts and MacRobert Hall control rooms, managing sound and lighting for numerous shows and events.  

Making the most of the wide range of experiences beyond the classroom at Robert Gordon's College, he was able to develop his talents in the creative arts as well as pursuing his keen interest in law and politics.

David secured a place at The University of Manchester to study Law (LLB) and Criminology. He shares: "This year's Advanced Highers helped further build and consolidate my knowledge and give confidence ahead of my further education. They were more difficult than previous years but the school ensured a smooth transition to the next level of qualifications.

"Robert Gordon’s inspired me to achieve to be the best I can be. Seeing the work of school alumni, the school has also shown me how the work you put in now and the opportunities available to you in school can support you in the future."

Not only is David a whizz on sound and lighting, he is also a fantastic baker. The Drama and Marketing departments are already missing the brownies!
