Junior School Swimming Gala brings competition and house spirit

P4-P7 pupils had a fantastic time competing in the Junior School Swimming Gala at Aberdeen Aquatics Centre.

The gala began with a burst of energy as each house gathered to perform their house chants, filling the poolside with enthusiasm and setting the tone for the event. With classmates, teachers and families cheering on the individual events and relays from the gallery, the atmosphere was lively and encouraging from start to finish.

Mrs Hutchinson, Teacher of Swimming shared: “We had a record number of pupils swim at our Junior School gala. The P4’s took the evening in their stride and all pupils turned out some very impressive swims. We had a number of records broken and fantastic support from all swimmers. And as always our relays had everyone on their feet cheering for their house.”
