Junior pupils support Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Appeal

Last night, Primary 4 and 5 pupils gathered in the MacRobert Hall to meet Michelle Ferguson, Charity Manager and Northsound DJ Jeff Diack to hand over the Junior School’s Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Appeal donations.

The huge display of gifts which were generously donated by our school community was quite overwhelming and took over the space in our Hall’s foyer. The children, along with Mrs Main and Mrs Rose were delighted to hear from Michelle about how the support of our families will help children who may not have a gift to open at Christmas.

Mrs Main said: “Relaxing in their festive onesies with their friends, the children enjoyed a movie night with snacks watching The Grinch (2018). Joined by our Junior and Senior House Captains, we helped Michelle and Jeff load the van which then headed off on its special delivery to Mission Christmas HQ."

Mrs Rose shared: "We are all astounded by the generosity of our families, staff and colleagues and cannot thank them enough for their kindness and thoughtfulness. Knowing that we, as a College, have made a significant difference to those in most need this Christmas we can now feel incredibly proud because, afterall, ‘Giving really is the Greatest Gift.”

On behalf of Junior School House we wish you and your family a healthy and happy festive period.
