Junior School Science Fair

A group of P6/7 Science enthusiasts began planning and carrying out their own science investigations, back in February, at a lunchtime club. This culminated in the RGC Junior School Science Fair, held in the library, which was visited by various Senior School Science teaching staff and parents too. The top three projects were then put forward to the city-wide Science Fair at NESCOL, where Katie S (P6) came 2nd overall. The other finalists, Poppy D & Niamh R and Vaibhav K & Tanish K (P6) also did themselves and RGC proud. Well done!

Katie said; “It was so exciting because it wasn’t just presenting, we got to do a lot of things we don’t normally get the chance to do, like making a necklace with our own DNA!”

Vaibhav said "It’s been one of the biggest experiences of P6”
