Continuing our landmark anniversary year marking ten years at The Craig Centre for Performing Arts, Senior School pupils took to the stage for their annual Live at the Craig Centre show. 

The evening featured a mix of full ensemble, solo and small group performances bringing together a range of big band jazz music. The audience was treated to some well known songs such as Havana by Camila Cabello and Holiday by Greenday.

Mrs Thom, Woodwind Instructor, said: “A huge well done to everyone for another brilliant ‘Live at the Craig Centre’ concert. I am so proud of all the pupils who performed. A lot of hard work went into rehearsals and I really appreciate their time and effort. It really was an eclectic mix of pieces from Trad Jazz to Black Sabbath, Scottish Ceilidh to Norah Jones, I think there was definitely something for everyone. This concert is the highlight of my year and I thoroughly enjoy the relaxed atmosphere it provides. Well done everyone.”

Live at the Craig Centre is one of many events that form part of a wider commitment to providing varied experiences, helping them develop as performers while building confidence and expanding their musical understanding.
