We were delighted to welcome Meg Lee, author of Mindsets For Parents: Strategies to Encourage Growth Mindsets in Kids to the College this week.

Held in the Craig Centre for Performing Arts, Meg brought a wealth of knowledge to the table, enlightening parents and carers from the Gordon’s community.

Mr Macpherson, Head of College, shared: “Meg is an internationally respected educator and her book has been critically acclaimed, so it was wonderful to have her join us in Aberdeen. Her work is firmly grounded in the latest education research, and she has done so much to help parents support their children as they grow up. It was a fantastic experience to hear her speak and we’re grateful that she made the journey from the US to be with us.”

Meg is the Director of Organisational Development for Frederick County Public Schools in Maryland, USA.
