Mini pipers record track with Red Hot Chilli Pipers

Fourteen of our pipers travelled to Edinburgh and Joined the Red Hot Chilli Pipers as they took over Tynecastle Stadium on Saturday. They were joined by hundreds of young bagpipers from all over Scotland to record a track on the new Red Hot Chilli Pipers album. Our children enjoyed lunch and rehearsals at the Army School of Bagpiping and Highland Drumming before the recording in the afternoon.

The famed traditional rockers packed 275 prodigies into Hearts' home ground to record a special rendition of Highland Cathedral for their album Fresh Air. The band posted on their Instagram page later: "It’s safe to say the future of #Bagpipes are in good hands! Thank you to all 275 kids and parents for coming to Tyncastle Stadium today and making our final day of recording #FreshAir super special. You were all a credit to yourselves and teachers it’s safe to say the future of bagpipes are in good hands!"
