Robert Gordon’s College features in the new Aberdeen edition of Monopoly, launched in the city today.

Aberdeen (ahead of Glasgow, Dundee, Inverness and 16 other Scottish places considered) landed the honour of creating a new unique version of Monopoly, a generation on from the very first Aberdeen Edition back in 2006. 

This new Aberdeen edition features customised tokens relevant to our local area. These were selected through public nominations earlier this year. Who features on the board has been kept under wraps until the game was officially launched at Aberdeen Art Gallery this morning.

Mr Mills said: “It is exciting to see how this traditional game is being tailored to our local area and remains a household favourite as the years progress. We are delighted to welcome Mr Monopoly to Schoolhill this morning where he is visiting some of our Junior School pupils in The Craig Centre for Performing Arts. Monopoly: Aberdeen is a great opportunity for the College, Aberdeen, our neighbouring institutions and landmarks to showcase our vibrant city.”

Monopoly: Aberdeen is available to purchase (£29.99) and collect from the Robert Gordon’s College Gift Shop. We have an initial limited stock at Schoolhill and we anticipate a high level of interest.
