Pipe Band and Highland Dancers put Scottish Culture in the spotlight

The first ever Robert Gordon’s College Pipe Band and Highland Dancers St Andrew's Day Concert took place on 29 November in the MacRobert Hall.

Over 200 spectators witnessed around 100 Pipers, Drummers and Highland Dancers put on a fantastic show of music, colour and dance to highlight the array of traditional Scottish talent we have throughout the Primary and Senior schools at RGC. Highlights on the night included the Broadswords Highland Dance, Drum Salutes, Solo Pipers and a Cast Finale of Highland Cathedral.

The evening offered the opportunity for Pipers, Drummers and Highland Dancers of all ages and levels of ability a chance to show off their musical and dancing skills in a concert environment.  The growth in the Pipe Band and Highland Dancing continues and the concert was well received by guests on the night.
