We are thrilled to be supporting the Aberdeen Strathspey and Reel Society in their efforts to promote traditional Scottish fiddle music to children in later primary and also secondary stages of school.
Together, we are proud to honour the legacy of our former pupil, Robbie Shepherd, who dedicated his life to preserving and sharing our Scottish language and culture with future generations. To continue this legacy, we invite young violin players from Aberdeen and the surrounding areas to join us for a special taster session on Saturday, 5th October 2024.
There will be two sessions available:

Beginners' Session at 11:00 AM – Support will be provided for those just starting out.

Intermediate Session at 12:45 PM – For those with some prior experience.
This event is completely free, and parents are welcome to stay and watch or return at the end of the session to collect their children with parking available on site.
