Junior School raise the roof in support of new House initiative

This morning, all Junior School pupils gathered in MacRobert Hall for a very exciting and energetic House Assembly.

The Junior School Captains were thrilled to be joined by our Senior School House Captains as they revealed the much anticipated 'House to House' doors, an initiative designed to show how, even though we all come from many places across the city and shire, we all arrive together at the front doors to our School.

Mrs Rose, House Coordinator shared: "I want to thank all of the RGC parents and staff members who took part in the initiative by sending in their child's photograph; some alone, some with their siblings but all proudly sharing where they come from every morning, whilst wearing a splash of their respective House Colours. Our School was described as 'Our House away from our House' - a place where we all feel safe, supported, cared for and championed."

During the assembly, our Junior School captains performed a 'dance story' to Phillip Phillips song 'Home' and together shared the message of belonging.

As always, the assembly ended with the traditional House Chant, where every child and member of staff raised the roof in support of their House.
