Before the end of term, all S1-S3 pupils across Scotland were invited to take part in the Scottish Association of Geography Teachers Worldwise Quiz to find the top Geographers. In an effort to promote the subject and sustainability, the pupils completed the quiz digitally. 

Congratulations to Aarav and Leonard (S1 at the time of the competition) who won 2nd and 3rd place. Aarav was the second highest scoring S1 pupil in Scotland with a fantastic score of 40/48. Leonard was the third highest scoring S1 pupil with a score of 33/48.

Dr Gray, Head of Geography shared: "This year’s online quiz was designed so that the vast majority of questions were "ungoogleable”; so our two prize-winning pupils did brilliantly! 

"Taking part in quizzes is a good way of using geographical knowledge learnt in and out of the classroom. This year we hope that the team Worldwise Quiz will return and that the pupils will enjoy taking part in similar events face to face across Scotland. With a wealth of geographical knowledge already evident the team could go far in the competition!"
