Friends and family of our Primary 4 and 5 pupils were last night transported into the world of show business for ‘A Night at the Musicals!’
Held in MacRobert Hall, the children sang their hearts out to popular songs and re-enacted key scenes from a range of West End and Broadway musicals such as Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Mary Poppins before finishing the show with a fantastic medley.
Mrs Rose, Teacher of Junior School Drama shared: “P4 and P5 have joined forces to stage a fabulous Night at the Musicals - a real showcase of their passion for and talent in Drama, Music and Dance. Each class brings to life a Musical through a range of enacted scenes, narration, movement, dance and song which along with the lights, mics and magic of our MacRobert Hall truly delivers an action packed and most memorable Night at the Theatre!”
Mrs MacLeod, Deputy Head of Junior School added: “Last night we all enjoyed a wonderful evening where we were entertained by the Primary 4 and Primary 5 pupils. It was great to see how confident all our children were performing to a busy audience in the MacRobert Hall. Family and friends all loved watching 'A Night at the Musicals'. We are all very proud of our children."
