It is a double celebration in Becky and Fin's household this week, as they have achieved ten As between them at Higher. This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the incredible support from their family and teachers.

Progressing diverse future pathways, they plan to follow careers in Sports Science and Accounting and Finance.

Becky has been balancing Scottish Hockey commitments alongside her S5 timetable where she studied Business Management, English, Human Biology, Latin and Modern Studies. Becky said: "I’m delighted with my results. It’s been a busy year studying for Highers and travelling to train in the Scottish Hockey Aspiring Squad, which has been an amazing experience. I hope to go on to study Sports Science at University after 6th year and continue my hockey journey."

Fin studied Accounting, Economics, English, Latin and Mathematics. He also performs across the country in the Robert Gordon's College Pipe Band and was awarded a King's Coronation Medal in June 2024. Thanking staff for their support, Fin added: "Having put in a lot of hard work this year, the results have made it all worthwhile. We are both very grateful for all the support we have had from the fantastic teaching staff at RGC. I hope to study Accounting and Finance at University after school but for now I look forward to enjoying 6th year."

Over one third of this year group, 62 pupils in total, achieved 5As and Higher Mathematics saw an impressive 91% A-B pass.
