Primary 3 had a special visitor recently - former pupil Calum Wright, Class of 2010!
Calum, the owner of the popular Big Manny's Pizza chain, joined the young learners as part of their Social Studies project on enterprise.
His visit wasn't just a pizza party, he engaged the year group with a presentation about his journey from the school classrooms to building a successful business.
The talk offered a fascinating glimpse into the world of entrepreneurship. Calum shared his experiences in setting up Big Manny's Pizza, emphasising the importance of supporting and collaborating with local businesses. He also discussed the exciting aspects of expanding a business, including opening new stores and franchising.
This interactive session perfectly complemented the P3's ongoing Social Studies project on enterprise. The pupils were captivated by his real-life example of turning an idea into a thriving business.
A huge thank you to Calum for dedicating his time to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs! We have a feeling some very creative business ideas are brewing in P3 after this insightful visit.
