Rory M (S1) has spent the summer holidays representing RGC Pipe Band on the Highland Games Solo Piping Competition Circuit. 

Mr Summer shares: "A dedicated piper, Rory has had extra tuition during the holidays to fine tune his musical skills prior to competitions and to great success.

Over the weekend of the 23rd - 24th July, he was placed 1st in the March and 2nd in both the Strathspey and Reel, and Piobaireachd events at the highly prestigious Braemar Junior Games. Well done Rory, we are very proud of you!"

The Braemar Junior Games is the younger version of the world famous Braemar Highland Gathering which enjoys the annual attendance of the Royal Family.
