It has been an incredible and exciting month for our Combined Cadet Force pupils, who have been busy participating in a number of activities across Scotland.

RAF cadets soar in flight
Twelve CCF RAF cadets, along with Mr Montgomery and Ms Johnstone, escaped the local sleet and snow for a day of Air Experience Flying at Leuchars Station.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day, sampling aerobatics and even taking control of the Grob Tutor aircraft. Thank you to the pilots and ground staff at 12 AEF for their enthusiastic welcome and for making it an unforgettable day for the cadets.

The National Piping Centre Junior Piping Competition 2025 showcased a remarkable display of talent from pipers across Scotland. Congratulations to Primary 7 pupils Larry, Andrew, and Aled who all placed in the competition.

CCF RAF welcomes guest speaker
Squadron Leader Tom Raeburn, Class of 2009, returned to the College to inspire our cadets. Held in the Craig Centre for Performing Arts, Tom shared his incredible journey from being a cadet during his time at Robert Gordon’s College to flying with the RAF. He encouraged the pupils to seize every opportunity, emphasising the training and camaraderie the RAF offers.
