Family, friends and the wider Gordon’s community arrived at The Music Hall Aberdeen for an unforgettable celebration of music, performance, and the magic of Christmas.

The annual Christmas concert featured a delightful mix of traditional carols and contemporary festive music performed by Junior and Senior pupils.

Mrs Massie, Head of Creative Arts, added: “Last night was a triumph from start to finish! Over 400 pupils from P4 to S6 entertained the audience with a variety of festive musical pieces with a guest appearance on video from ‘Infant Glee’ (P2 and P3 choir).

“The concert highlighted the variety of Music co-curricular groups on offer and showcased the huge amount of musical talent we have at RGC. Music is more than a hobby. It enhances learning, pupil wellbeing and like all of the arts, it brings people together, instils confidence and encourages creativity.  I am extremely proud of all the pupils and staff who made the concert such a success.

“Since the formation of our new Creative Arts department in August, staff have been busy co-ordinating a variety of opportunities and events across the three subject areas of Art, Drama and Music and we are just at the beginning of a very exciting chapter for creative arts here at Robert Gordon’s College.”
