As part of their summer term co-curricular choices, Primary 6 and 7 had the opportunity to participate in ‘DanceVersity’ with the aim of building pupils' dance and coordination skills, confidence, and most importantly - have fun!

After a busy summer term and only 10 hours of dance practice and choreography, the pupils had a fantastic time on stage performing for family and friends where the audience enjoyed both group and individual performances.

Mrs Rose and Mrs Melville shared: “It was an absolute pleasure for Mrs Rose and Mrs Melville to work with our P6/7 DanceVersity Club pupils this term. On Thursday evening last week with only ten hours of practice the wonderful team of dancers created a sensational show for parents, families and pupils in The Craig Centre for Performing Arts.

“Alongside live performances from various Dance genres the team used iPad programmes to create bespoke video content to highlight a vast range of presentation skills. The audience were dazzled by the performances and in true Strictly Come Dancing fashion they were given a standing ovation and a resounding ten overall. Well done to every member of the P6/7 DanceVersity 2023 team!”
