Primary 7 and S3 pupils welcomed families and guests to this year's Ellington Memorial Art Prize award presentations.

A total of 29 finalists took part, including fourteen Primary 7 pupils and fifteen S3 pupils, whose artwork was showcased in a special exhibition currently on display in The Craig Centre for Performing Arts. The exhibition provided an opportunity for pupils to share their creative achievements with the wider community and celebrate their hard work and talent. 

The awards were presented by Ken Ellington, son of Mrs Lindsay Ellington and former pupil Professor Henry Ellington (Class of ‘59), in whose memory the P7 and S3 Art prize is held. This annual event continues to encourage and celebrate young artistic talent, providing pupils with a valuable opportunity to express themselves through art and gain confidence in their creative abilities.
