S6 pupil Emma is embarking on an exciting new chapter as she moves from Aberdeen to London to study Liberal Arts at King’s College London.

Music has been the highlight of her school career, where she contributed to numerous shows, school events and ensembles. This passion for the arts, combined with her academic achievements, has inspired her to pursue a broader education in the humanities.

Emma said: "I'm so happy with my results as I can now go on to study Liberal Arts at King's College London and knowing that my hard work in subjects I've loved has paid off just tops off my time at school!

"I was so nervous to receive my results as they determine where I'll be living for the next 3 years and after receiving a blank results email initially it was such a relief when the text finally came through.

"Music at RGC has been the highlight of my school experience and I'm excited to continue pursuing this as my major at King's and hope to go into the music industry in the future."

Achieving three As at Advanced Higher, Emma studied English, Modern Studies and Music in S6. She is eager to explore the diverse opportunities that London offers while continuing to nurture her love for music alongside her studies at one of the UK’s leading universities.

A total of 155 pupils sat Advanced Highers with 91.6% A-C and 72.2% A-B passes. The impressive average number of Advanced Highers achieved per S6 pupil is 2.31; 24 pupils achieved three As and two achieved four As. 100% of Advanced Higher pupils achieved an A-C pass in a broad range of subjects, including English.
