It is not only pupils who suffer from exam stress, parents do too! The Robert Gordon’s College Parents’ Association welcomed Robin Macpherson, Head of College who shared his advice on coaching children through their revision.

Gillian White, RGCPA Co-chair opened the event with over 200 attendees. Parents, pupils and staff tuned in to learn more about how to plan, study and revise for those all important tests and exams, and how to support and encourage independent learning.

Judith Thorpe, RGCPA Co-Chair said: “The RGCPA were delighted with the level of engagement during the webinar. With over 200 pupils and parents in the audience there were some great questions and lots of positive comments and feedback afterwards.

“We are keen to continue to build on this momentum and welcome any suggestions for future events. Please email chair.rgcpa@gmail.com.”

Gillian White, RGCPA Co-Chair added: “I’m delighted that our third RGCPA webinar was so well attended. Mr Macpherson passed on so many illustrative insights as a teacher and examiner as well as sharing tips that I can already see are great ways to help our children through exams.

“For those who missed it, I highly recommend catching up on the recording to learn a thing or two from our own Head of College. With reference material and compelling statistics to back up the content, there are many key takeaways for parents.”
