Mr Northcroft popped into Nursery with his bicycle to explain to the girls and boys about the different things he does in order to keep safe when he is cycling on the busy Aberdeen roads. We enjoyed seeing his jacket and bag with reflective strips, extra strong helmet, flashing lights and warm, waterproof shoe covers. Mr Northcroft encouraged all of us to remember to wear our helmets when we are on our bikes.

This week, we have been learning about rhyme and have been enjoying stories by Julie Donaldson that are full of delightful rhyming words. Our favourite so far is “A Squash and A Squeeze.” We have also been enjoying a game called “Rhyme and Freeze.” Every time we hear words that don’t rhyme, we have to freeze!

Our Children in Need workout was lots of fun and we really enjoyed being in the MacRobert Hall. Lots of us wore yellow or spotty dressing-up clothes to Nursery. It was certainly another fun-filled day in Nursery!
