Last night, Primary 3 and Primary 4 pupils took to the stage to present their wonderful rendition of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Held in MacRobert Hall, the pupils put on a spectacular show, performing a range of memorable songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic score, including ‘Go, Go, Go Joseph’, ‘Joseph’s Coat’ and the ever-popular ‘Any Dream Will Do’.
The production, a retelling of the biblical story of Joseph and his ‘coat of many colours’, showcased the immense talent and hard work of everyone involved.
Primary 4 pupil Sofia who plays the part of Pharaoh, shared: “It was exciting getting to perform as a great big team in the hall. The songs and dances were lots of fun and we will remember this for a long time.”
Mrs Rose, Teacher of Drama added: “It is always really rewarding for pupils across two year groups to combine their efforts in producing a stage show. The learning opportunities are really empowering and our children thoroughly enjoyed this vibrant, action packed experience together. We all felt incredibly proud of our P3/4 pupils as they brought this classic show to life, entertaining a full hall of happy, toe tapping parents! Well done everyone!”
