A new financial assistance programme has been launched by Robert Gordon's College offering fee assistance to families entering our Junior School. The Junior Foundationer Awards will support the cost of annual school fees for applications to all Junior School year groups starting in August 2024. Awards will provide 25% fee assistance to a pupil entering any junior year group until the end of Primary 7.
Mr Robin Macpherson, Head of College shared: "The Foundationer Awards have been introduced to offer children across the city and region an exciting opportunity to join a supportive educational community, whatever their background or interest, where they can find their niche and excel. The fee support will be provided to academically able pupils from families who can demonstrate that they would not otherwise be able to afford to send their child to Robert Gordon's College Junior School on a full fee basis.
"Our vision is for a Robert Gordon's College education to be accessible to talented children from all across the North East of Scotland as we believe every child deserves this ambition. Since the pandemic the economic environment for families has been extremely challenging, particularly for families interested in an education for younger children in Junior School year groups. In response to this challenge, we believe it is timely and important to introduce a new financial initiative that will enable younger children to benefit from an education at Robert Gordon’s College.
Robert Gordon’s College Junior School offers the very best start in a child's education, helping children explore what they are passionate about and how they can excel in their learning in an inspiring environment that builds strong learning foundations for life. At Robert Gordon’s Junior School, pupils are excited about science, fascinated by new technology, enjoy performing on the stage, and playing in a team on the sports field creating an exciting pathway for their future.
