Congratulations to Ksénia W and Asiya S, both S6, who won 1st and 2nd place respectively for their presentations in French to the national AMOPA Advanced Higher speaking competition.

Mrs Lamont said: "Their entries were judged by the Association's jury who were extremely impressed by the range of vocabulary and high standard of presentation the girls gave on the difficult topics of immigration and homelessness. The Association des Membres de l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques (AMOPA) in Scotland organises this competition annually for students of Advanced Higher French and we are delighted to have had pupils win 1st prize for three years running. This is testament to the quality of French teaching taking place throughout Robert Gordon’s College from Nursery to S6."
