Friday 28 April saw the third “Lunch with the Archivists” event held at the College. 38 Gordonians, former staff members and guests, including former College Archivist Penny Hartley, joined Archivists Tom Cumming and Daniel Montgomery along with Development Manager, Sarah-Jane Johnstone to enjoy the afternoon event. Prior to sitting down to lunch, guests viewed the College Timeline and an exhibition of images and artefacts including the original design for the Otaki Shield, the 1830 Extension Plan, the Sillerton House gong and the Royal Charter and Seal of 1772.

Following lunch, guests listened to two interesting talks, first on various aspects of the history of the Hospital and College, then on the College Rolls of Honour and research methods used to compile the Rolls. It was fantastic to see former pupils, former staff and friends back at Schoolhill and a very enjoyable day was had by all.
