Enhancing their knowledge of careers in the energy sector, six S4-S6 pupils attended OPITO's My Energy Future Live at Subsea Expo.

Miss Braid, Universities and Careers Assistant, attended the event with the senior pupils, commenting, "Pupils had the opportunity to network with global companies and complete a variety of skill based STEM scenarios, competing against other schools and impressing industry experts."

My Energy Future LIVE events have been running for 15 years and have been held as part of major energy industry events or delivered through standalone sessions since 2008. The aim of these events is to inspire young people to think about a career in the energy sector and provide an opportunity to engage with key companies and personnel who can help explain their business as well as roles and routes into the sector.

This week, forty S3-S6 pupils are attending 'Careers in STEM 2022' at RGU. Pupils will have the opportunity to participate in interactive sessions, exploring a range of subject areas including Engineering, Computing, and Architecture and Built Environment.
