A team of four pupils from S3-S6 are participating in the Northsound Energy Schools Challenge that is aired, each Sunday on Northsound at 3pm. 

Robert (S5) said: "This year, for the heats, we were drawn to play Mearns Academy, but you’ll have to listen to Northsound 1 at 3pm on Sunday 27th October to hear the result! The team: Beth (Captain, S6); Robert (S5); Megan (S4) and Henry (S3). The rounds are hosted at the offices of local energy companies around the City.  The events consist of a presentation about the company and what they do, and then the quiz itself. There are eight rounds, ranging from music to sport, movies to energy, so there’s something for everyone’s strengths.  It’s a knockout tournament where you need to win to progress.  If you manage to beat your opposition in both the heats and quarter finals, the school makes it to finals week, where the best four schools go head to head to determine the champion.  Many thanks to Mrs Farquhar for her commitment to organising and managing the College’s team each year."
