The much-anticipated Nursery Spring Sing brought joy, laughter and a touch of magic this week as our youngest learners took to The Craig Centre for Performing Arts stage to perform their charming rendition of the classic tale Hansel and Gretel. 

Our nursery children confidently delivered their lines, embraced their roles and sang their hearts out. Staff worked closely with the children in the weeks leading up to the performance, helping them learn songs, practise movements and understand the story. 

Miss Taylor, Teacher of Music, shared: “The children in Nursery worked incredibly hard to bring to life the story of Hansel and Gretel. Using their voices, instruments and props, the performance was packed full of sweet songs! The show was filled with enthusiasm from each child and along with the encouragement of everyone involved, the children performed with confidence resulting in a special Spring Sing.”

This year’s performance of Hansel and Gretel was a delightful reminder of the joy that comes from creativity, imagination and community.
