Throughout the Junior School, pupils have been learning about significant events which have happened during the many different decades of our Queen's impressive reign.

Primary 1's decade, 2012 - 2022, has observed lots of exciting discoveries in space. So where better to take our learning than Aberdeen Science Centre?!

Miss Menzies said: "During our visit we took part in a spectacular workshop, 'Discovering Space'. Here we learnt all about space travel and what it is like to live and work in the International Space Station. We also found out how astronauts go to the toilet in space!

"Our trip also included lots of opportunities to explore the many interactive installations within the centre. Some of our favourites included: creating a solar system, discovering what the moon smells like and engaging with their resident robot.

"We had such a fantastic time that so many of us cannot wait to return!"
