Our Primary 4-7 pupils had a fantastic final session of hockey and rugby in perfect conditions before moving on to our exciting new summer sports programme.

Mr Chowdhury, Mrs Roberts, Mr Scorgie, Mr Morrison, and Mr Patterson hosted a P5-7 mixed mini tournament to finish off their season. The P7 pupils captained and led their teams, which included P5 and P6 players. P5 received 3 points for every goal scored, P6 received 2 points, and P7 received 1 point. This encouraged the younger players to take goal-scoring positions.

Mr Leiper and Mr James guided P4 and P5 through their final session, while Mr Shade, Mr Ali, and Ms Hyland took P6 and P7 Rugby through a house rugby challenge, followed by a kick tennis competition.

At Robert Gordon’s College, we’re proud of our co-curricular sports programme, which helps pupils develop key skills, teamwork, and resilience across a wide range of activities. From rugby and hockey to football, swimming, cricket, tennis, and athletics, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

With expert coaching, excellent facilities, and regular away fixtures from Primary 5 onwards, pupils develop confidence, build lasting friendships, and nurture a lifelong love of sport. Whether competing at the highest level or staying active, sport is at the heart of school life at Robert Gordon’s College.
