The RGC Championship Sports Day 2024 took place on Saturday 1st June in fantastic sunshine which was only elevated by the excellent Athletics displays from pupils in P5 all the way up to S6.
Around 250 pupils took part on the day competing in events such as 100m, 800m, Hurdles, Shot Putt, Long Jump and High Jump as well as House Relays to finish the Competition.
Pupils have been practising their Athletics all term. They have competed for the College in matches and have completed heats to prepare for this Championship Sports Day. We were lucky to see some fantastic performances on Saturday as a result where seven of these saw a school record broken:

We were also delighted to welcome the RGC Pipe Band to the event who set up the occasion nicely as we headed into the final Relays.
